On July 5, CPIFA Vice President Yang Tao attended the Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2025, and spoke at a roundtable on Guizhou's achievements in practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.

Yang stated that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, China has kept to the path of green development and implemented the new development philosophy. It put forward the Global Development Initiative, advocated the joint building of a community of life for man and Nature and a green Belt and Road Initiative, promoted the formation of a series of new international institutions and rules for global green development, and helped other developing countries to go green and be prosperous at the same time. 

Going forward, China will continue to adhere to the vision of ecological civilization, deepen green cooperation with the international community, and make greater contributions to the global efforts in tackling climate change and achieving a green and low-carbon energy transition. 

As a long-term partner of the Forum, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs will fully harness the unique role of people-to-people diplomacy, further promote the philosophy of green development, facilitate international exchanges and cooperation on environmental protection and climate response, and work hand in hand with all relevant parties to jointly advance global progress in ecological civilization.
